The MyAds course has been split into two stages. This enables people to purchase only what they need.

Subscribing to the course gives you and only you access to the course for use only within your business. The information is not to be shared with others and is considered to be private and confidential.

By subscribing to this course, you are agreeing that you will not use the information provided except in your immediate business. (This course is not currently available for developers as our aim is to directly assist businesses.) Any variation to these terms must be negotiated in advance with Online Connections and agreed in writing.

The following provides a course summary.

Stage 1

Course summary:

Stage 1 provides you with an increased knowledge of the Internet, skills to enable you to upload your information to the Internet and the skills to create simple web pages.

The subscription gives you access to the course material for a three month period.

You will be provided with a password and user name which will expire at the end of three months. You should ensure you have copies of any documentation you may wish to keep from the course.

With regards to your simple advertisements, what you create is now yours. That is the beauty of doing it yourself.

Price: $90.00+GST (Australian Dollars)

NOTE: The charge for the course only includes the cost of the course and not any other costs associated with running a website such as hosting.

Stage 2

Course summary:

Stage 2 extends Stage 1. Once you have completed the basics presented in Stage 1, you move on to cover the issues to create a structured website.

We cover all the important issues such as domain names, registration, delegation, hosting and building your website. At the end of this course you should be able to build a website to a standard approaching the Online Connections site, and have it visible on the Internet.

The subscription gives you access to the course material for a three month period.

You will be provided with a password and user name which will expire at the end of three months. You should ensure you have copies of any documentation you may wish to keep from the course.

With regards to the content of your website, what you create is now yours. That is the beauty of doing it yourself.

If you get someone else to build your website, you will find most of what they build you do not own or even have rights to. Even the graphics used are generally not your's to use. Most people do not realise this until they go to move their website somewhere else. By doing it yourself, it is your's.

General Support

The MyAds course developed by Online Connections aims to be a starting point for growing your skills. Generally the aim is for you to be independent and as self sufficient as possible.

We understand however that we all need some assistance from time to time. Before purchasing the following support, we would highly recommend visiting the MyAnswers section of our website (www.onlineconnections.com.au/myanswers) and reviewing the questions answered in the MyAds Stage 1 and MyAds Stage 2 sections. These are questions that have been answered before and as some questions may have taken a considerable amount of time to solve, they can represent excellent value for money.

We also appreciate that everyone comes up with questions that others may not have come across, so we have put the following support option into place.

- Support is via email unless alternative arrangements are organised in advance.

- Support is charged in six minutes intervals

Many questions can be resolved quickly and thus be completed in the six minutes interval. Should a problem be expected to take more than six minutes, we will contact you for approval and a limit on what you are prepared to spend to have the problem solved.

Price: $14.00+GST (Australian Dollars) per six minute support interval.

NOTE: Please remember to enter the number of intervals we have advised when paying if the support time exceeded six minutes.
