Online Connections provides SEO consulting services to existing clients of Online Connections, including those using the JustLocal service. Many SEO companies and consultants are quite suspect and often deliver no value at considerable cost to clients. In order to avoid this situation I'm happy to assist and guide existing Online Connectons clients with their SEO needs.

SEO consists of three components.

• Keyword research
• On-page keyword adjustments
• Off-page links

Keyword research

Determining suitable words and phrases (known as keywords) can be difficult for clients who may not have the skills. In conjunction with a client I'm happy to offer a preliminary keyword analysis to determine suitable keywords for a client. My approach is to review what people are searching for and then using a tool I've created, determine keywords that are most likely to improve their presence on the internet. Often this results in a first page position.

On-page keyword adjustments

After a quick review of a site I'll provide suggestions on a number of changes that should make a site and pages more search engine friendly. Some of these changes whilst small have resulted in considerable improvement in the position in Google search results.

Off-page links

Unlike many SEO consultants who themselves have no real presence in Google (it is hard to see how these consultants can assist others with their presence), the services offered by Online Connections have very good positioning in Google and I share that presence with clients to help them improve their presence. I'll also review sites clients may currently appear on as well as suggesting additional sites if appropriate.

Each of the above services can be provided individually or as a complete package. If clients maintain their own sites and have someone else maintain their site I'm also happy to work with them or their supplier. If clients need assistance implementing changes then if I feel I can cost effectively make changes to a site then those services can also be provided.

Until now I've not really promoted SEO services as part of my core offering. I've used those skills internally and to assist clients when requested. In order for clients to avoid some of the SEO businesses who may offer little value to their business at high cost, it was felt appropriate to let clients know these services are now available.
